The leaves can be picked young as baby leaves or left to mature, and are ideal for freezing. Spinach 'America' stands well in hot weather without bolting, provided it is regularly watered. Sow successionally for a long harvest period.

Sow outdoors

Sow thinly, 1cm deep in rows 30cm apart, direct in harvest position. Keep the soil moist at all times.

Thin

When seedlings are large enough to handle, thin to 15cm apart as necessary.

Tips
